Dedicated to rhubarb

I bought my first rhubarb ever and made these very delicious muffins recommended by Rikke and some rhubarb compote.

The compote (two last pictures) was so ridiculously easy to make:
- Cut rhubarb in to approximately 1cm thick pieces
- Coat in sugar and possibly a bit of lemon juice or zest
- Mix in one stick of vanilla
- Bake in the oven at around 180 (celcius) for 20 minutes

rhuburb is such a good looking vegetable!
and a very tasty one too...

i always cook my compote with some water or juice. but it sounds also great to bake it.
i think i have to buy some rhuburb today.
